Zombie Land Saga's Asami Tano, Kaede Hondo Rap Live
posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
This season's Zombie Land Saga caught viewers off guard with its satirical take on the idol industry while simultaneously promoting Japan's Saga prefecture at the same time. Not only is the idol group made up of the undead, but they aren't bound to typical idol pop music either. The anime's second episode showed the girls banging their heads along to death metal followed by a third episode focusing on the girls' rapping skills.
Voice actresses Asami Tano (Saki Nikaidō) and Kaede Hondo (Sakura Minamoto) performed the anime's hip-hop segment live during a special Zombie Land Saga program on the Abema TV streaming service on October 31. The characters' chops weren't a one-time miracle and Tano and Hondo were ready to prove it live.
