Crunchyroll Adds Encouragement of Climb Second Season

Crunchyroll announced on Thursday that it will stream Encouragement of Climb Second Season (Yama no Susume Second Season). The first episode will premiere for premium members at 1:00 p.m. EDT and for free members next week. Future episodes will stream on Wednesdays at 11:30 a.m.
The stream will be available in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Demark, Iceland, Netherlands, Turkey, Latin America (Central and South America including Caribbean), Spain, Portugal, France and DOM/TOM, Belgium,Andorra, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Germany,Austria, Liechtenstein, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Italy, Romania, the Middle East, and North Africa.
Yūsuke Yamamoto will be directing the adaptation of Shiro's original manga at animation studio 8-Bit from scripts by Kazuyuki Fudeyasu, and Yuusuke Matsuo will be designing the characters. Tom-H@ck and yamazo will be providing the anime's music. The anime's main voice actresses, Yuka Iguchi, Kana Asumi, Yōko Hikasa, and Yui Ogura, will perform the opening theme opening theme, "Natsuiro no Present" (Summer-Colored Present).
Five new cast members will join the series: Yui Horie as Yūka, Nao Tōyama as Honoka, Yuko Gibu as Hikari, Aya Hisakawa as Aoi's mother, and Seirō Ogino as Hinata's father.
The manga and anime tell the story of childhood friends: Aoi, a girl who prefers staying inside and who has acrophobia, and Hinata, a girl who loves mountains. The two decide to climb a mountain in order to once again see the Morning Sun from its peak as they did when they were young.
Crunchyroll streamed the first series as it aired in 2013.
