Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate 3DS Game Adds Metroid Costumes

Nintendo began streaming a video on Wednesday confirming the North American release of a Monster Hunter Ultimate (Monster Hunter 4G in Japan) and Metroid collaboration DLC, which CAPCOM also announced on Wednesday. The DLC will be available for download at 7-Elevens in Japan from December 17 through January 28.
The collaboration content includes a special quest and two Samus costumes.
The Nintendo 3DS game will ship in Japan on October 11. The hard copy of the game will retail for 5,800 yen (about US$53) and the downloaded version will be 5,546 yen (US$51). Players will be able to transfer some data from Monster Hunter 4 to Monster Hunter 4G and it will have online multi-player support. The game will ship in North America in early 2015.
Other Monster Hunter 4 collaborations include a Super Mario and Legend of Zelda DLC, Seven Deadly Sins' Meliodas' Sword, a giant spoon weapon from Hiromu Arakawa's Silver Spoon manga, and Aladdin and Alibaba's weapons from Shinobu Ohtaka's Magi manga. CAPCOM began streaming a trailer for its Animal Crossing collaboration featuring Isabelle and Resetti on Friday:
