Rashid's animations are insane. Both for character animation and cloth physics.

This trailer made me realize how stiff MK1's animations still can look. :/

Pretty happy for the game.

Capcom knocked it out of the park with this one since there's a lot of stuff there for competitive and non-competitive players, which is the ideal you want for a game like this.

I feel like they should be rewarded for the positive direction they've taken everything in, so it's good to know that they're hitting these types of milestones not too long after release.

That said, they're letting Rashid rock at Evo, so hopefully nobody finds something game-breaking with the character between the character release and the tournament.

Or if someone does find something, they snitch on themselves on Twitter so Capcom can get a heads up like they did with the throw tech option select that automatically techs all throws, which they just patched out.

That exploit was pretty funny: I had a bonding moment with a few people in the battle hub where I tested it on them and we all had a laugh because they'd never seen it done in a match before.

The battle hub is kind of revolutionary for fighting games because the online social aspect has never had this type of scope before: it's really refreshing to see all the goofy avatars people come up with walk around and do a bunch of silly things.

I think they kind of had it for Arc Sytem Works games when they weren't busy making an overly convoluted social hub, but the battle hub's scale and presentation just completely overshadows it. You don't even really need to fight people to get the most out of it... you can just chill on the arcade machines where they rotate out classic Capcom arcade games.
