Mario Takes to the Wild in New Unreal Engine Video

Epic Games released assets for its "A Boy and His Kite" demo for free about three months ago. The assets include a realistic landscape set on high-plains and rife with deer, tall grass, and breathtaking imagery. The open world demo uses the Unreal 4 Engine.

Like the previous video by aryoksini, YouTuber CryZENx couldn't help but stick an updated Mario into the environment.

They also decided to throw Sonic the Hedgehog in for good measure.

CryZENx is currently working on making the Mario open-world environment into a playable demo.
