CAPCOM's YouTube channel released a teaser video on September 7 showcasing the addition of Link from The Legend of Zelda into the new Monster Hunter Stories Nintendo 3DS game. The collaboration is in celebration of The Legend of Zelda's 30th anniversary this year.
According to the Monster Hunter Stories official website, the main player can equip Link's sword and clothes as special armor. The hero can also ride and battle with Epona, Link's horse.
Monster Hunter Stories is a role-playing Nintendo 3DS game spin-off within the Monster Hunter video game series. CAPCOM will release the game on October 8 for 5,800 yen (US$57) for the packaged version and 5,546 yen (US$54) for the digital download.
The game will be accompanied by an anime, Monster Hunter Stories RIDE ON, which premieres in October. CAPCOM previously released a promotional video for the game in May along with cast and bonus download details.
