Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger premiered on Japanese television in February 2013 as part of Toei's long-running Super Sentai franchise. The series spawned the Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger: Gaburincho of Music film, the franchise's first musical project performed by the series' cast, in August 2013. The characters also appeared in the Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger vs. Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters: Kyōryū Daisakusen! Saraba Eien no Tomo yo film in January 2014, the Kaettekita Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger 100 Years After special DVD and Blu-ray Disc in June 2014, and the Ressha Sentai ToQger vs Kyoryuger The Movie Super Sentai film in January 2015.

Saban Brands used Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger footage to create Power Rangers Dino Charge and Power Rangers Dino Super Charge.
