Square Enix Reveals World End Heroes Smartphone Game With Video

Square Enix revealed the World End Heroes iOS and Android smartphone game on Friday. The company began streaming a "Voice & Sound" video for the game, which features character voices, silhouettes, and music.
The voice cast includes Kenji Akabane, Kōhei Amasaki, Kaito Ishikawa, Kazuhiko Inoue, Yūma Uchida, Kōki Uchiyama, Yuichiro Umehara, Megumi Ogata, Nobuhiko Okamoto, Yūsuke Kobayashi, Takahiro Sakurai, Nobunaga Shimazaki, Tomokazu Sugita, Hiroki Suzuki, Ryōta Takeuchi, Kenji Nojima, Satoshi Hino, Shun Horie, Kenta Miyake, Ayumu Murase, and Hiroyuki Yoshino. Square Enix has yet to reveal the roles for the cast members.
Umehara was hospitalized in May after being diagnosed with acute disseminated encephalomyelitis, an autoimmune disease that affects the nervous system. After his hospitalization, Umehara began focusing on treatment and recovery and started an indefinite hiatus from work. Umehara has been replaced in several anime roles.
Basic gameplay will be free, but some items will be available for a fee.
